- Does the iZettle Device show on screen “Connected to POS” or “Connected and iPad name”? if not Please disable/enable the Bluetooth on the iPad, visit Settings > Bluetooth, turn this off for 5 seconds and back on, look for the iZettle name and re-connect.
- If this does not resolve the issue, please power off the iZettle device using the button on the top of the device for 5 seconds and power back on and try a transaction on Revel ePos.
- If the payment still does not work please open iZettle Go on the iPad look for the icon below, please ensure that iZettle Go is logged in with your site email address, the password is your “refund password”
- Once logged in please click on the “Calculator” icon below and enter in £1.00, then press Card, this shows the connection is working, please return to Revel ePos and try the transaction again. We can refund this amount for you, please contact the support.
- If the iZettle is still not working please check if the device needs a software update, open the iZettle Go App, Go to Settings > Card Readers
- If the device is due an update, please tap the Green button saying “Update Reader”
- Please return to Revel ePos and try the transaction again.
- One last thing to check please ensure you are using the correct iPad POS with the correct iZettle device, please check the other terminals if the amount is showing if so please switch?

Re-Pair Your iPad with Your iZettle Reader Device
- On your iPad, tap Settings.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- On your iZettle Reader, power it on. You’ll find the power switch on the top. Hold it down briefly until the front LCD screen lights up
- If the device is unpaired, it will report it is looking for an iPad.
- Hold down the blue Okay button until it prompts you for Bluetooth pairing. Note the device name. It may or may not appear as iZettle xxx for your device
- On your iPad, the iZettle device will soon be found. If for some reason your iPad does not discover it, disable and then re-enable Bluetooth on your iPad. When found, tap it
- Your iPad will indicate a pairing request and give you a confirmation code. Tap Pair.
- On your iZettle device, you will see the confirmation code on the LCD screen. Press the Okay button to accept the pairing. Problems connecting a card reader via Bluetooth
- The card reader continues to say “Welcome!” when I have the iZettle Go app open.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or tablet and tap “iZettle ###” to connect.
My or tablet says “iZettle has lost the connection to your card reader”.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or tablet and tap on “iZettle ###” to connect.
- Open the iZettle Go app and wait for 15 seconds.
The card reader doesn’t show up in the list of available devices in the Bluetooth settings on my smartphone or tablet.
- Shut down the card reader: Press and hold the small, black power button on the left side of the card reader.
- Restart it and follow these steps to connect.
